LeBron has won the EC Player of the Month award 6 in a row

Somebody in RCF proposed that the league should give two awards from now on: "Western Conference Player of the Month and Eastern Conference second best player of the month."
Sounds reasonable.
Anyone know what the record is?

Seems like that is the highest that has been won consecutively.. He should definitely win the MVP again.

I'm surprised he won again, Dwight Howard won like three player of the week in a row.

In 08/09 Lebron won it 4 times. As did Garnett in 03/04. Thats the record, though I dont know since when do you have this award so thats not that impressive.

it is impressive to me, I haven't seen too many NBA players win it 3 times in a row, let alone 6 times..
