________Simple Facts of the Game________

The Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the NBA's hottest teams since late January, winning 14 of 18 to become a factor in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Cleveland and Orlando are two of three teams with 14 wins since Jan. 27, and Milwaukee (32-29) is the surprising third name on the list. The Bucks were three games out of the East's ninth playoff spot as of Jan. 26, but they have climbed to sixth by going 14-4 since.

The Cavaliers (49-14) have won six straight and 19 of 22 to build a six-game lead on Orlando atop the East and a three-game cushion on the Los Angeles Lakers for the league's best record. They rallied from a 21-point first-half deficit to beat Detroit 99-92 on Friday behind 40 points and 13 rebounds from James.

Jennings averaged 21.0 points in two December meetings with the Cavaliers -- making 14 of 43 shots -- as Milwaukee came up short each time. Delonte West had 21 points in a 101-86 win at the Bradley Center on Dec. 6, then James had 26 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in an 85-82 victory in Cleveland on Dec. 18, the Cavaliers' sixth straight win in the series.

Splitting time with J.J. Hickson at center since O'Neal's injury, Varejao has averaged 13.5 points and 8.5 rebounds during the Cavaliers' latest winning streak. Cleveland's newest addition, Antawn Jamison, has averaged 21.6 points and 9.8 rebounds in his last five visits to Milwaukee.

That 16 points in 2 min. was a sick, sick performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyd4NPvzKQg&feature=fvsr

Hitting shots from everywhere on the court...VideoGameJames

Tonight will be tough considering we're playing without a center. Bogut may abuse us.

The Bucks have not beaten any top teams of note since the new year began, but their performance has improved dramatically since acquiring John Salmons. Bogut has been playing at a near All-Star level. The defense has been solid. The team has played unselfishly. And they have been healthy for the most part.

No one expected a team picked by many to be the worst team in the NBA to win 14 of 18 games. Or have a winning record every month except December. So far, they are the surprise team of the Eastern Conference.

Yea, not easy for sure..The Bucks are playing solid ball and are playing for something right now, so this will be a highly competitive game from their end... And if the Cavs bring anything close to the same effort they brought last night, the Cavs will get destroyed..

Two matchup issues for us tonight... Speedy PG that can easily get into the paint and a Center that can give JJ some trouble...

IMO, Cavs should (but won't) keep LBJ in the post.. Same with Delonte when he has a PG on him...Bucks have no answers for each...

Wait so Hickson is your starting center? Expect Bogut to beast, this will be a highly competitive game, I see the Cavs winning it at the end, Bucks have played the upper tier teams very well this year, but they have yet to close one out, would be a pleasant surprise if we could pull one out.

I wish the Bucks would change their lighting... They have one of the dimmest lit arenas in the NBA.. At least it looks that way on TV... And the green and red court is disgusting...

Like Brooke, Bogut is slow.. I'd like to see JJ moving around out there and get him in some foul trouble...

The problem tonight however should prove to be the speedy guard without having a tough interior defender in the paint to smack him around... I see a lot of dribble penetration tonight unless Delonte just pounces on him...

Just a question I wanted to ask the Cavs fans.
L&H said on our board that you wouldn't trade AV for Bogut. Is that true?

I agree that Bogut is not slow and I expect him to block a shot from both Hickson and Jamison. While Bogut is not slow he's not even remotely as quick as Hickson. That being said, you can't teach height.

The biggest misconception about this Cavs team is that we are LeBron and a bunch of scrubs. The fact is quite the contrary. We have a very good TEAM. Other fanbases do not understand this. Each player we have plays an integral role into the success of this team. Each player knows their specific role, especially on the defensive end, which is WAY underrated on Real GM. This could be a reason why some Cavs fans overvalue our players, because they are probably the most effective in OUR system.

At the end of the day, I would probably do the Bogut deal, but do not let box scores dictate how good or valuable the players on this team are. AV is probably the second most important Cav.

Trust me no Bucks fans underestimate the idea or players knowing their role. Our team has nowhere near enought to talent, to be where they are. Many people's problem with Bogut was that he deffered to Michael Redd too much. I think he would have no problem deffering and playing even better defense than he does with the Bucks.

I dont think I would trade Varejao for Bogut, although I can at least see the debate for it.

Well you are pretty spot on with that. At one point, I was wondering what the heck the Bucks were doing as an organization. I can imagine the frustrations by your fans. Giving away Mo, trading Jefferson, giving away Sessions and CV. But all of those guys were "score first" players. Too many chiefs and not enough indians. Each player needs to know their role and purpose.

BTW I love John Salmons. The guy won me over in his series against Boston last year. Wish the Cavs could have landed him at the deadline.
