Play-off Roster

Post#1 » by Cleveland Fan » Fri Apr 2, 2010 11:04 am

I know it depends on who we play & injuries but who's on our active play-off roster? You have the starting 5 of Mo, Parker, Antwawn, LBJ & Shaq. Bench of Andy, West, JJ, Z, Moon & Powe. That brings you to 11. Who is the 12th man, Boobie, Jawad or Green? I don"t see Green getting any PT so that leaves Boobie & Jawad.

It won't even be 12 men deep, typically teams only use an 8 man rotation for the playoffs, but it out case I can see it being nine, the other three guys will just be on the bench cuz they have to. The only guys who see playing time will be the five starters, Lebron, Mo, Parker, Jamison, and as long as he is ready Shaq, and the back ups will be Z, Andy, West and depending on who we are playing for the match up either JJ or Powe, but they probably wont both play. Now Injuries or a player getting extremely cold could change that but the rest of the bench should be jawad boobie and either powe or jj. Green might have promising years but not this year he wont dress. So final twelve man roster is mo, praker, lebron, jamison, shaq, z, andy, west, jj, powe, jawad and boobie, with jawad boobie and powe not playing much, or not at all.

No Jamario Amon? I think he is a bit better than Jawad no? I think it should be Boobie just for the late three if needed, or if West has an off day he at least give us some insurance at the pg spot.

I'd say Boobie probably gets the 12th spot. He won't get any run but he'll get the spot. The actual rotation is a bit tougher to figure out. The Cavs may go 10 deep which is pretty rare for a playoff rotation. Though I would be perfectly fine with leaving Z and Moon out of the rotation.

Mike Brown like a 8 man roster during the playoffs. I hope he goes 11 man deep and give hickson and Leon Powe playing time because I think they could be very effiective during the playoffs. the Roster should be like this during the 2nd Round of the play off with Shaq back:

Starters
Center-Shaq
PF-Antawn Jamison
SF-Lebron
SG-Parker
PG-Moe Williams

Bench in importance
Anderson Varejao
Hickson
Delonte West
Zydrunas Ilgauska
Leon Powe
Daniel Gibson
