Come on Ortiz
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The third time through, not letting guys go deep is going to be the one thing I'm gonna end up being old and cranky about. I can just hear my dad yelling at the TV right now as Koenig is getting warm while Priester is only at 75 pitches.

This is arguably the smartest organization in sports factoring in payroll constraints. We deserve a championship.

I wish we had early 2024 Joey Ortiz in the lineup

I don’t mind. Guys has maxed out at 50 innings in a year in his career so far. Don’t push him too much, keep him fresh for the rest of the year. Think it could be part of the reason we’ve used Mears as a “starter” with Priester, keep him able to pitch in October without being shut down to early.

I get it, and I know it makes sense. But I still remember playing as a kid and 100 pitches being the benchmark of what you wanted to hit. A Maddux is a complete game under 100. I loved seeing guys go for that. Not even getting the shot is just a bummer to me.

LOL I did not expect to win on a ridiculous play by Ortiz.

Keep it going.

It was awesome watching Quinn Priester & Caleb Durbin, two guys who many fans doubted when we acquired them, lead us to a win over the Dodgers tonight. That was cool
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

I haven’t seen any buzz about Durbin potentially being NL ROY? I mean, there aren’t really any star rookie players, are there in the NL? Durbin I saw has a WAR of 2, Baldwin is 1.9, and Baldwin is considered the main comtnder from what I see with Misio, who doesn’t really have the starts to compare right now, probably will at the end of the year. Idk, but don’t you get a 1st Round pick for ROY prospect promotion? But yea, seems surprising Durbin isn’t getting some love as a ROY contenders everyday starter on a good team, multiple walk offs, the only thing he lacks is high end HR numbers and hitting stats, but overall seems like clearly one of the best rookies.
