This was such a sweet series, Just hope the brewers are not topping out at the wrong time. My only fear.

Nothing personal, but I hate this way of thinking. It's not like you have a certain allowance of wins and can't go over that. Playing this well does not at all make it less likely that you will play this well in the playoffs. You're either good or you're not, and if you can put together a streak like this, you're probably pretty good. That means you have a chance in the playoffs, and that's all you can ask.

Streaks like this can come and go at any time of year. You could end the season like this and still get swept out of the playoffs.

ETA: If they fall flat in the playoffs, it won't be because they "peaked too soon." It will be because of whatever happened in the playoffs to make them fall flat.

If they fail in the playoffs its cause their bats are still very streaky and average.
