Appropriate number for how this team has been looking lately.

Re: Brewers/Padres Series
Which seed could result in regrets?
Want Cubs/Padres or else Dodgers/Mets?
There's one thing that's true
Whether seed one or two
This is baseball as good as it gets
Not liking the sloppiness in meaningless games, but if there's ever a team that deserves to be cut some slack, this is it.
Gotta go light a votive candle for Trevor Megill now.

Re: Brewers/Padres Series
Tbh I'd much rather have the Dodgers/6 seed than the Cubs/Padres winner, but at this point I don't think there is any chance to get the 2 seed and I don't lose every game just to have a chance
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Bad fan take alert here: I don't want to have a Cubs NLCS or playoff series ever. I don't like the idea of the stadium being taken over, etc.

The only team I don’t want is Chicago and it’s entirely because of the crowd.

Re: Brewers/Padres Series
The fact that tix sold out so quickly yesterday means Cubs fans gobbled them up. And they'll gobble up more on the secondary market if they beat the Padres. It will be embarrassing to have so many of them in our place for playoff games.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Re: Brewers/Padres Series
I'd love to see the Cubs in the playoffs. Would suck to lose and to have to deal with all the jagoffs in our stadium but maybe it gives the team a much needed jolt.
Though admittedly my apathy for this team set in at a record pace. I'm expecting an early exit so anything more than that is a big W. Injuries suck.

Do it for Chuck

Same. Plus they have not exactly been a great matchup for us this year. I do feel like its inevitable we’re going to get them though.
Glad to get a win today. Need some good vibes.

Re: Brewers/Padres Series
I can't imagine anyone ever in a million years wanting the Cubs anywhere near the playoffs. Makes absolutely zero sense.
