That Monday Turnbow blown save looks to have set a funk on this team. We are swinging at garbage consistently at the plate, instead of letting things come to us.

This has all the makings of the start of another horrible stretch. I hope I'm wrong.

even if we lost our last 15, I will never be worried at 25-15 with a mostly healthy roster.

I am not too worried yet but you are so right about the at bats these guys are taking. No one seems to be taking pitches anymore, the Estrada swing at the first pitch practice seems to be wearing off on everyone. Of course as I right this Weeks took 5 pitches, fouled one off, and then took ball 4 to break up the potential perfect game. Hopefully that flips the switch on this whole bad AB problem that has been running rampant.

The 3 game home series is the best thing that could happen to this team. We play so well at home and I think we will at least win 2 out of 3 against the twins. We are going to be like 25 games over .500 at home and around .500 on the road this year. We are too young to be a really good road team so we'll have to pick it up at home and I think they will.

.500 on the road is not a lock by any means for the season. We're under .500 on the road after tonight and still have a WC trip coming later this month. We also play at Detroit and at Texas, where we could easily lose both series.

Not concerned yet, but a 2-5/1-6 road trip is unacceptable, and doesn't change the fact that I'm mad currently.

Its pointless to be worried by so few games. The baseball season is ridiculously long and there is a lot of variance in an individual game or a short span of games. Didn't the team that has beaten us the last two days start out 1-7 or something ridiculous like that?

Well, my main worry coming into the season is rearing it's head right now. Consistency scoring runs on a day to day basis. I can see this team getting in a huge funk with how aggressive they are at the plate.

Cubs won, Astros, Pirates both winning. Have gone from 14 games over .500 to 9 over in a pretty short period.

Nice win last night. I think the Crew will be fine. Ned just has to understand that he HAS to pull Turnbow early when he's having a bad outing. Turnbow generally does not work himself out of jams. When he starts bad, he generally finishes bad. Don't let the guy drag the team down. Pull him when he's struggling.
