It looks like I've lost my game thread mojo. If this keeps up I'll be demoted to the Dessens role of only starting game threads if there's an injury. :(

Can anyone hit with RISP? This is getting ridiculous.

The benches did clear and they cleared because the Dodgers 1st base coach had sand in his vagina and he got a temper from it.

russel martin almost hit a homerun, it was initially called one but then overturned. next pitch villanueva lets one get away at his head, he hits the deck, stares him down. next pitch a walk. at first base there's tension and then first base coach mariano duncan gets in it with our coach sedar. prince steps in and him and duncan start jawing. martin and the ump get in between, benches clear.

NEW RULES

Tony Barffanino and Craig "Maybe I'll hit the ball if I stand waaaayyy up on my tippee toes" Counsell can never, never, ever appear in the starting line up at the same time. It's like the Brewers are playing 7 vs 9 everytime Smeadly Toast runs up a card with these two zeros on it. Running these two turds together with the pitcher at the end of the order is a guaranteed 3 straight outs.
Barffanino would get hung with an "0 for" with three K's if he was playing in a girls high school softball game. Counsell needs to hit the ball twice to get it out of the infield. Yet Toast continues to march Hall out to center field and let 3 of our other 5 outfielders (any of which could out hit Barff or Tippee Toes in their sleep) sit on the bench.
As the Guiness guys say....BRILLIANT!!!!

courtesy of the js : "By the way, third base prospect Ryan Braun went 3 for 4 and homered for the second consecutive day. Braun, who also batted leadoff for the second day in a row, is batting .354 with 10 homers and 22 RBI."

Schroeder is actually worse behind a microphone than he was behind the plate. Did not think that was possible. His nickname "Rock" is a less a reference to his toughness and more a description of what is contained in his cranium.

And is it just me or is Ann Carroll even more annoying after a loss. She absolutely sucks!! (and not in a good way). I think she takes that hair off every night and puts it on a syrofoam head on her nightstand.

I know. My bad.

It's kind of like seeing a horrible car crash. You don't want to look but you just have to.
