Yes, because the great Corey Hart has proven to all that he should be there everyday.

And Gwynn has proven what exactly?

Exactly... let them battle it out. Have them split time at right. They both have potential and both are part of our future. Id rather give them playing time then to Shrek.

That was my initial point about Hart. Gywnn has proven so far he has an above average arm. He has very good range, and he is a starting caliber center fielder with leadoff capability with good speed. Yet you guys have a utility player playing Center field which is Gwynn's posistion. This is just an outside opinion, but I feel Gwynn has the clear ability to be the leadoff CFer for the crew. Weeks is not a leadoff hitter, he's not a high average hitter, he's obp is ok, but he strikes out a bit too much as well. Weeks is a perfect 2 hole or 5 hole hitter, not a leadoff.

You guys are winning now and playing good ball. Although right now things are clicking, for the future Gwynn has to be an everyday player. He's only going to get better.

Corey Hart is faster, stronger, better arm, better player period then Gwynn....if Gywnn's last name was Johnson we would not be having this discussion. Hart needs to play...period I have no problem with making Gwynn the 4th outfielder and rotating him throughout the line-up from time to time...but he is a slap hitter and thats it, not strong enough to start everyday.

The one thing that needs to stop is Mench starting any games where a righthander is on the mound.I'd have no problem giving Gwynn starts in some of those games, but one good month doesn't make Gwynn an everyday player.

I like the lineup with Weeks hitting leadoff and Gwynn hitting two. The chances of dropping 2 early runs on a team are very good. The Brewers play very well with leads, and do not play well when they fall behind early. I like this lineup:

Weeks
Gwynn
Hardy
Prince
Braun
Estrada
Hall
Jenkins

I think that we should be able to put up a lot of runs with that lineup.

I also think that we might want to dump Dave Bush for Gallardo soon.

Estrada
Jenkins

I like the lineup, but you can't bat Jenks at 8. He is not patient enough. Automatic strikeout.
