Davey Nelson...

What are the chances his contract gets renewed? I love the guy, but wow, he seems so lost and flustered on air. I can see how they hired him, being that his in-game interviews last year went well. But now that he's in the chair, he looks lost!

I don't mind him. HIs role is pretty small. First they need to get rid of Anderson, then worry about Nelson.

I'm warming up a bit to Anderson. He seems slightly less monotonous and a tad bit more exciting after the initial suck factor.

I am lovin Anderson. Hes shown he has got a lot better than when he first started and hes already better than Sutton ever was. Showing enthusiasm when needed and not talking about useless sh** like Sutton used to do.

Nelson needs to go though and bring Ann Taylor with him. Both are just awful pregame hosts

Taylor is horrible I agree. Anderson to me still seems as if he is back on the Golf Channel. And he clearly knows little about baseball. Bill corrects him all the time, so does the producer.

Davey reminds me of how I'd fare on the spot. I know I'd be prepared, but when the time comes to actually speak on camera, I'd come off flustered and nervous. That's the sense I get with Davey. The crew obviously loved his dugout work from the games last year, but it's night and day difference between that Davey and Studio-Davey.

I was talking about this opening day with some people, they assured me he'd get over the jitters. Doesn't appear that way a month in. I hope he does though.

Davey is bad. It's just so uncomfortable to watch. The chick is bad too. What's with her voice?

I actually like Anderson. I found Sutton really annoying, but Anderson doesn't get in the way. I think he's knowledgable, but he does mispeak sometimes. He should get better in time. I still long for the days of Matty Vasgersian (sp?).

i really liked sutton, anderson's ok but i don't like him anywhere near as much.

i almost never watch the pre or post show but when i have i haven't really minded either of them.

Sutton SUCKED! The new guy is too stiff and doesn't know much about the game, but he is better then Sutton. Sutton just reminded me of that guy in school who always made smart as$ comments and you just wanted to pound. Davey is ok, his role is so small I could really care less. He screws up like a few of you have pointed out. Seems like a real nice guy that they tried to give some of job almost out of charity. He probably will be gone after the year. Craig Coshaun (sp?) is ok and that chick is better then I thought. Shroeder is ok, kind of a big ched head = fits with the people here.

coshun asked him tonight after the game to describe corderos performance without just saying very good which kind of took davey by surprise because thats what he was about to say before finally coming up with awesome to describe cordero after having to rethink it for a second or two.

I wouldn't want to date her, but she actually does a decent job. I usually don't pay much attention to Davey, but I did after the Cubs game on Tues. He is bad, seems like a good guy. Kind of like your Uncle, but he is bad.
