No I didn't. Only Dan Shaughnessy did.

Dan Shaughnessy ≠ Red Sox fans.

There are always fans like that on all teams. When I was in Milwaukee last year, I was next to a Brewers fan who was chanting right in front of my face and rubbing in the fact that the Cubs were losing. Does this mean all Brewers fans are like this. Of course not. Idiot fans exist everywhere, and it doesn't mean the majority of the fans are like that.

The vast majority of Cubs fans are great, loyal, knowledgeable fans. It's that small percentage that usually finds their way to Milwaukee that's the problem. This coming from an Illinoisan.

I was raised on being taken to Bucks and Brewer games. I have never been to a Packers game, and they are my least favorite team in Wisconsin probably from a direct result of that.

I'm pretty much the more well known "Milwaukee/Bears" fan here. My dad grew up in Brown Deer and took me to Bucks and Brewers games as a kid. However, living in Rockford, Illinois, I was a Bears fan pretty much of my location (as well as my mom, a rabid Bears fan). So, that's my story.

People hate the Cubs fans because they come into YOUR house and take it over. I don't know if you can blame fans for following their team to another state. I have a little tiny problem with Cubs fans that are from here, -if you like the Cubs so much move to Illinois.

The blame for this rests in the wimpy Milwaukee fans really. Brewer fans need to really support the Crew when they play the Cubs. Buy the tickets ahead of time. The Brewers should make the tickets available to Wisconsin residents first. The Brewers currently advertise like crazy in Chicago. If the Brewers maintain some success I think this will turn around-instead of 40% Brewer fans, maybe 65%. Until then you are going to be in Wrigley North and a guest in your own home.

So what, they are cheering for their team. There is nothing wrong about that.
Now if they were swearing at you and throwing things at you, then we have a problem.

If you ask me, there's a huge difference between supporting your team and being obnoxious. Cheering your team is fine with me, but to rub it in to the home fans isn't necessary. You can take that trash back to Chicago.
