Yep.

And if there was any doubt that Reynolds wasn't returning next year, this game should put it away. Reynolds did some nice things, especially on defense, this year, but the most memorable things he did will be a .200 avg (his season avg has actually been under .200 all month) and tonight's 8th inning blunder to lose a must-win game.

Gomez really is unclutch as a batter. Has anyone suggested to him that he shorten his swing in certain situations?

Gomez has been pretty good with RISP this year from what I remember. However, he's been terrible when the bases are loaded.

If any other team but us played St Louis the last 3 days, they sweep the Cards.

Yea, he is hitting .331 with RISP so far this year, but .272 with nobody on base.

His wild swinging ways though makes it seem like he's terrible with RISP.

I thankfully missed the game, but did Roenicke say why he took out Loshe who was only at 88 pitches and had allowed just 4 hits?

Returning next year? They should of left his ass in St Louis.
