The thing that really sucks is that a baseball season gets really boring really quick if you aren't contending for the playoffs, unless you are tracking some up and coming studs that are getting regular MLB PT. I foresee a pretty boring season overall. But I'm in the "time to rebuild" boat. Want a high pick and if we are struggling, I'd have pretty much everyone out there to see what kind of trade value they have in terms of prospects.
Agree with boring part. I've tried hard to get back into the Brewers like I used to and this start is not helping. And there aren't any prospects near to help and the system as a whole isn't stacked, albeit it has improved. If they fall out of it, no way I'm committing much time to watch/listen to games that don't mean anything come July, August, September.
And I don't know what to think of the team as far as guys I get behind. I always really liked Gomez and thought he was an unpredictable exciting player, still is I guess. Braun can't stay on the field and to point is a little tainted. The IF to me is just a bunch of guys. Lucroy is good. Pitching staff is good but besides maybe Wily P nothing long term that is going to develop into a stud.
If we fall out quick, I'd be peddling guys like Lohse, Garza, Aramis, etc if they have value.
