The fact that Gomez still hasn't learned proper baserunning is jaw dropping. Can't keep making stupid mistakes like that

I'm afraid that Kyle Lohse with his low velocity and aging arm is turning into Jeff Suppan. Am I overreacting?

A lot of players look washed up. Braun, Ramirez, Lohse, Broxton, K-Rod.

I'm still fine with the Gallardo trade but I kinda wished they would've pushed Lohse on them first. At least with Gallardo there was a chance we would give him the QO after the season. No chance we offer a 37 year old Lohse the QO even if he has a good season.

Is it too early to be rooting for loses?

Rooting for tanking in baseball is kinda pointless.

Not really. It still allows access to the best players in the draft. Now it allows you to get the most money to spend on the draft and internationally and if this franchise (looking at you Mark) finally realizes it needs to rebuild instead of chasing a .500 record and hoping to get lucky, I would view that as a major positive too.

There is more than one way to build in baseball than through the draft. Tanking would help because of the minor league system and the Brewers can trade some of their more valuable players for some nice prospects. If they are average than they won't sell off and might even get rid of decent prospects like Anthony Banda last year.

If you get out to a mediocre but still decent start it can be rather useless to root for losses in MLB, but if you have a chance to be worst team in baseball or something close, lose all the damn games you can.

We have to peddle veterans and I'm not opposed to pulling trigger in Gomez if the haul is good.
