His numbers, uh, aren't good.

Lackey was beat up by Votto in his only start this season but he only struck out 1 in six innings.

Gomez out.

SS Segura
C Lucroy
RF Braun
1B Lind
3B Ramirez
LF Davis
2B Gennett
CF Parra
P Fiers

Get it, Mike.

Scooter with a base running **** up. Not a great bunt but it was still a play you gotta go half walk up the line. Segura gets a hit in the next AB.

Gonna be spending a lot of time at the pool it looks like. Wish it would open before Memorial Day.

Stanley Cup playoffs until then at least.

I wouldn't say we're absolutely screwed yet. Seems like the Brewers often get off to a decent start then **** the bed the last few months. Maybe it will be the opposite this season.

Until last year the trend was get off to **** starts, fall way behind and then win meaningless games at the end of the season which screws up our draft pick.

Either way this team has always run hot/cold for months at a time. There's a lot of talent on the roster, I'll give them a bit of time

I just don't get that thinking. We've pretty much had some variation of this roster for 3 years now. It's gotten us absolutely no where yet people are willing to give it more time?

This team could be good this year. A lot of baseball left before the trade deadline. I agree we should be willing to trade anybody if we are still looking awful a month from now. I'm just not ready to make huge judgements after 9 games. Could be one of the best lineups in baseball if the bats get going

Good thing we picked up Roenicke's option. I don't say that sarcastically. Now he can't use it as an excuse when he gets fired.
