I'm hoping Broxton has a great spring and then heads into the season as the starting CF. I'm very curious to watch him play and see if he could be one of those late bloomer steals teams hit on sometimes.

Would be awesome. He does have the tools but probably profiles more as a back up. I think him and Michael Reed are along the same planes when it comes to what theyll offer. It is only the beginning so we'll see once games start being played.

Sounds like Lucroy is in good shape and ready to go. It would be awesome if he starts the season on a tear and the offers start coming in. Lucroy over the drama.

Braun officially back in left. Seemed like an obvious move just happy they didn't mess around and are just doing it from the start of camp.

I think the depth cart is about as accurate as something one of us would guess and post.

Last year was the first year since the late 80s I didn't go to at least 1 game. Hoping to get back down there this year but will wait to buy tickets as I think better deals will be had if they lose alot early again.

Oh man that sucks...

Yeah the one I went to the game was secondary and it was honestly hard to stay focused. I was pretty sober as had to drive that day. I wouldn't go again unless I'm one of the ones drinking.

Hope you don't have a bad crew around you.

Got Loge under Uecker. The people watching on Opening Day is amazing. I go to as many games opening week as I can since excitement is still in the air.

http://www.jsonline.com/sports/brewers/brewers-owner-mark-attanasio-feels-energy-as-massive-rebuilding-project-starts-b99676702z1-370192361.html

Interesting article from the Owner. The one red flag out of the article was about the Brewers situation in Milwaukee. The city better get their act together regarding the Bucks and the Brewers. I'd never think the Brewers would leave but if you piss off the owner, he may as well head to a warm weather climate. I highly doubt they leave with how decent the attendance and fan-fare is every year.

The Brewers signed a lease extension in 2012 that now has them in a series of one-year options, meaning they could leave on short notice. Attanasio said city officials would get first crack at meeting the Brewers' needs before they start looking elsewhere in aggressive fashion.

"We're hoping to maybe do something with the city here. We like the location," said Attanasio. "I think it's time for the sides to come together and either we do something or we don't. I'm hoping we can do something.

"We have plenty of time on the options, but I think David and Matt are focused on technology. We've got to be able to do that, especially with all of the young players we have. We've got to get to a state-of-the-art facility, either here or somewhere else, in the next couple of years. I mean be moved in and operating.

"The way we're going to work this is we're going to try to work out something here. We'll have a deadline and if it doesn't work...I never thought seriously I'd be looking at Florida, but in order for us to compete we've got to have a state-of-the-art facility.

It's about Maryvale not Milwaukee. He's talking about the spring training complex.

That makes more sense, thanks for clarifying. I was just skimming the article and the paragraph before just said about the complex. :noway:

Current Miller Park lease goes through 2030.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

With the offseason over, I have to rate it pretty well at the moment. I thought we moved alot of pieces to really help the farm system. I mean in a perfect world it wouldve been nice to move Lucroy too but we'll see what happens.
