We look like a playoff team right now. I think that the only piece we are missing is one more great starting pitcher. If we shifted Capuano to 3, Suppan to 4, and moved Gallardo into the starting line at 5, then we would be an almost unstoppable pitching lineup in the playoffs.

Our hitting speaks for itself.

You guys are like the Knicks (A good Knicks). Last NBA season I had to watch the Knicks games everyday because of Bulls draft pick reasons and they would always find a way to make games interesting. Same thing with you guys but you guys find a way to win and it's so frustrating.

All of those guys wouldn't be starting because you often shorten the rotation all the way down to three with a fourth getting a few starts if needed.

Do you guys now consider this year to be a first official rivalry season? Basically the Cubs and Brewers have both been bad over the years and Chicago/Milwaukee wasn't much of a rivalry. I know Selig tried to create one over the last few years when I have seen Cubs games at Miller Park. Now I think a "real" rivalry has finally been awoken. Good too, baseball is a gift from god.

I've always felt there has been a rivalry between the Cubbies and Brew Crew...even during the past decade or so when we've both sucked. We've had great games against each other and it always seems to be a very competitive series. I think the fact that the Brewers have the NLs best record and the Cubs are seemingly waking up makes it even more intriguing, but I would've been intrigued nonetheless.
