Brew Crew All-Star Voting

Post#1 » by THE2ndComing.AI » Thu Jun 28, 2007 11:18 pm

Just thought that I would start a new thread to encourage everybody to vote for the Brewers.....Voting ends tonight at 11:59 PM ET, and you can vote up to 25 times....takes very little effort to submit a ballot--and the races at 1st (Prince-1st place) and SS (JJ-2nd Place) are still very close, and a lot can change in the next 4 or 5 hours....so get voting!!!

So when do we get the final results? If Ben Sheets isn't there and Prince isn't starting I'll be pissed.

Reyes just is in to big of a market.

It probally helps that he is the Best SS in the Majors as well.

Reyes: .314BA, .395OBP, .447SLG, 38SB, 33RBI, 3HR, and 42walks
Hardy: .281BA, .339OBP, .510 SLG, 0SB, 50RBI, 18HR, and 26 walks

The only thing hardy has more is HR and RBI. But you have to consider Reyes is a leadoff hitter. So he never hits for power and doesnt have alot of opportunity to drive in runs.

Now as much as I would like hardy to start in the All-star game. I do not think he deserves the start over Reyes.

The NL is flooded with amazing SS, Edgar Rentaria, Hanley Ramirez, and Jimmy Rollins So it is going to be hard for him to even get in the ASG. IMO

Pretty stupid to schedule it on a minor station and after a game. Due to a rain delay it's going to be awhile. Why not just schedule it around 5:00, when all of the early games are over?

TBS = Turner Broadcasting System

Turner Broadcasting System = owned by Ted Turner

Ted Turner = once owner of Braves and everything in Atlanta

yeah, that TBS selection show was incredibly frustrating. I wanted that game to be over so bad, and then they waste time blathering with A-Rod and Griffey before announcing the teams.
