jenkins strikes out 28% of his plate appearances. this means there was (basically) a 1 in 3 chance that on the double-steal call (with two of the slowest runners stealing) that the ball would be squarely in the catcher's mitt waiting for mench to run into it. but!!! not only did it end up in the likely double-play, valentin had the time to throw down to second for a chance at fielder and get the ball back in time to get mench. if this is wrong, correct me somebody, i heard it on the radio and the summary said 3-2-3.

Reds 2 Yost 1
Nothing like a manager helping the last place team win. Yost sucks.

Yep you heard it right. Fielder was not even half down to 2nd and Munchin was out by a mile. Smart move by Yost.

I heard something about someone getting hit in the face in this game, who was it? I was at work all night.

Oh, by the way, the lineup wouldn't have won a teeball game

Lopez was hit right in the mouth. It looked ugly. Went out and a stretcher.

Right when he went down there was blood pouring out of his mouth. He had a huge knot on his cheek and blood all over his face. They brought a stetcher, but he got up and sat on a car and rode off with a towel on his face. I'm sure he got a tooth knocked out, but never cool after the recent death in the field of play. There was no intent by Wise...

Go away. Cubs should be good considering the money they spend.

Campbell's chunky got rocked again, can't wait to pay this guy 12.5 per in a few years. Reputation of an innings eater, yet he can't get past the 5th inning without throwing 100+ pitches and surrendering 9+ hits.
Go Bucks!
