The sad part is that we've now finally got two MVP type bats in Fielder and Braun.....a great closer.....Sheets pitched a good first half.....a rookie fireball pitcher who may be on par with a Dwight Gooden type.....

All that and we still can't play over .500 ball....

They've actually played .710 baseball since June 22nd.

I'm actually really interested to see how this plays out. When will the Cubs cool off? When will the Brewers win like 8 of 10? Who will be there at the end?

This is fun to me. I love baseball and the insane 162 game schedule. :D

The Cubs will cool....but even if they cool this weekend, will they play sub .500 ball the last two months of the year?

Somehow the Brewers have to get it going.....they do need an 8-2 streak.

Well, they do have a stretch where they play at Col, at Hou, then they're home against StL and Cincy. They SHOULD be able to play well over those 12 games (and they have 6 home games before then vs the Mets and Philly). In theory, they should be able to get it going again.... but will they?

Dynamite road record.
Fix that, and you're running away with homefield through-out the whole NL side of the bracket.

This team will never be in the playoffs with Ned Yost as the manager...

We just about to get swept in a day night double by a sub .500 team. And just lost 3 of 4 to one of the worst teams in baseball...

Pathetic.
 We need to start a rally? We do not want be Yosted again. Or the Yost is on us.

Who can smell a 2 hitter from Reyes?

Whoa.

Damn you and your correct predictions...

Maybe I should make a prediction for tomorrow's game.

You'd be surprised how calm I am. I've accepted the fact that we're going to have another 2nd half collapse and Yost will be fired after the season.

..And the Brewers remain winless since May 7th in games that Cappy stars. If only betting was still doable without all the hassle. :(
Go Bucks!
