Great stat, now look up bases loaded (or second and third) with one out. In fact, see if you can find that stat for after all star break.....
Man on 3rd with less than 2 out he is 4-13.
Men on with 2 out he's 11-36
2nd and 3rd he's 1-5
1st and 3rd he's 4-11
1st and 2nd he's 5-16
On 3rd only he's 5-9
On 2nd only he's 6-16
There does that satisfy your complaints or would you like to whine further?

Very good, very impressive numbers.
Now what are those numbers since last Monday

Based on your continued sarcasm I see I struck a nerve with you. I'll make sure never to question Ryan again.....
....would it make you feel better if I said Ryan was already the best he could be and had nothing he could work on?

My bad, I thought his name was in the title of the thread <shrug>
Guess we can only say nice things about him...
Seriously you're ragging on him for not getting a guy in from 3rd with less than 2 out when he is STILL hitting .350 with RISP. Maybe find something else to bitch about. You're getting annoying.

What's annoying is the fact everyone wants to act like he's perfect. Most of the year he's been great. Fact is he failed in fundamental pressure situations the past couple of weeks.
I love Braun too, but apparantly I'm not drinking the same kool-aid as all of you.
Someone change the name of this thread to Ryan is Perfect.
And after you do that, try to focus on the good things I said about him in my posts.

Do you know what's even easier. Pretending one of your favorite players is perfect and has nothing to work on. You can pretend that his failure to hit sac flies in those games are irrelevant all you want.
Most neutral fans (heck, ask Willie Randolph) will tell you that is an area he needs to work on.
So you're going to cast your lot with a weak pussy who doesn't even try to pretend his arm's not in a sling?

Go find something else to bitch about, seriously.

I don't quite understand the necessity to antagonize, but I'll blow it off and say this...There are few people I would take in baseball over Ryan Braun as long as he stays at 3rd base. The guy is a flat out stud...I think it's because his eyes are so far apart, its that peripheral vision that sets him apart.

He's not perfect. That was easy.
Your argument doesn't make all that much sense. So he missed a few opportunities in key situations in two games in a week and now you question his ability to hit overall in key situations? Do you realize how terrible of an argument that is? Do you also realize that baseball is a sport of failure? The greatest players in history are doomed to fail in "fundamental pressure situations" as you put it, since that is the nature of the sport. Its an inevitabitliy of the sport if you are Babe Ruth, Bonds, Ted Williams, or any other phenomenal player.
Albert Pujols once had a streak in his career where over 11 games played he went 4-41 with 1 RBI and 1 run. Do you think he blew it in some "fundamental pressure situations" during that two week span? **** happens even if you are one of the top 5 hitters in baseball history.
We have a guy who you could argue has been the best (offensive) player in baseball since being called up and you want to nitpick about a few ABs? I think you are letting your emotions of the battle with the Cubs get the best of you.
Getting frustrated with Braun of all people is bizarro.

It's impossible to not love what he does at the plate, but he really needs to improve ALOT defensively.Between his errors and him not making plays that were near errors,he's one of the worst defenders at his position in baseball.
Todays game was a prime example,he needed do something to prevent that ball from getting to the outfield so that Burrell couldn't score from second base.Even if it may not have been an error,Braun has to knock that ball down.
The frustrating this is Braun has the tools to be great defensively at thirdbase. He's athletic and the arm is there, but he simply bungles way to many plays.
