Instead of saying Nelson has completed his first phase of rehab and is asking the surgeon what he can do next, they are saying he "plateaued". Teams are funny with their choices of words sometimes.

Mayor of Ding Dong City is legitimately the worst nickname in the history of sports. Don't @ me.

Yeah its been a rough go of it this year for him. Have to think his days in the rotation are limited.

Damn Woodruff. Keep your head in the game. Can't make a mistake like that.

Woodruff reminds me a lot of Jimmy Nelson before he put it all together last year.

Woodruff having a good bounceback game of sorts here. The kid has the stuff to be a solid #3. He just lacks the control and the consistency. Turk, I like your analogy above. I agree. Though, honestly, I think Woodruff might have the better toolkit to work from.

Man, Goldschmidt is having a terrible season so far.

Indeed. Like, really really bad. Like, maybe worse than Braun.

Braun likely headed to the DL because of course he is.

At this point, if his bat is truly just slow at this point of his career, I don’t have much of a problem with it.

Sucks braun has slowed down so much. Hopefully a long DL stint to get him fixed will help. Then maybe just platoon him solely vs lefties until he can prove his bat speed is back to normal. As long as the brewers keep getting lucky and winning, I have no problem.

I just sent the **** to the waivers in my fantasy league and I haven't slept as good in months. He sucked last year and he's been terrible this year, I think he's done.

Still think Braun's hitting woes are largely a lot of bad luck still. His hard/med hit %'s are still in line or very slightly below his peak, but his babip is way lower than normal.

I think hes lost quite a bit but he isn't this bad. He will rebound when he gets back.
