The monumental gap between us and the Cubs was on full display over the past week. It's so incredibly frustrating that they can sweep a terrible Reds team in a four game set and we lose one and then barely win two extra inning games against the same team.

Sure. But, what we’ve seen this entire season is we are a bottom team in the division. We have a sub-.500 record in the NL Central even after this series win.

Who cares what the division record is. It means nothing. All games count the same. Going into the final month of the season we're in the thick of it. People will find something to bitch about even after winning 2 of 3. Maybe sports isn't for everyone.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah, I didn't like that move. He was one of more reliable bullpen guys last year outside of the top 3.

FWIW, I complain like hell about the relief rotation and Counsell’s utter lack of feel there. But, I was definitely not complaining about our divisonal record. I was just stating it’s a wee bit foolish to play scoreboard watch versus the divisional leader - and more talented - Cubs team when we’ve simply beem struggling to play .500 ball in-division.

Miraculously, despite our bullpen and Guerra meltdown; despite replay reviews constantly going against us; despite the Schoop trade; despite the umps (!!); despite all my opinionated questions...this Brewers team is till in the thick. Amazing. It’s like a classic McCarthy Packers team. Never quitting.

It's worth noting how much worse the Crew are than the Cubs. Were already trending in that direction but compounded it with deadline moves. That should be noted. As well as it feels like we're holding on for dear life right now. When you win you can have a mixture on positive and negative small and big picture takeaways. Part of being complex beings.

Incidentally, about the frustration with the struggles in the review process, I don't know if it was mentioned, but the Brewers do have by far the lowest success-rate in the league at 11%. Next lowest is 26%. Tops is 75%, and they've challenged more than the Brewers. Combo of poor luck and discretion. http://mlbreplaystats.com/

Scooter and now Hughes. Maybe Arcia’s career resurrection(or I guess start) will be in cincy.
