The Sounds have been on the Triple-A level since 1985 and served as the Brewers' affiliate before (2005-14). In fact, that was the longest the Sounds have been connected to an MLB club.

The other affiliates in Triple-A have been the Tigers (1985-86), Reds (1987-92), White Sox (1993-97) and Pirates (1998-2004).

They got a new stadium in 2015...then booted the Brewers because not enough prospects or something. And now they get the Rangers...who have no prospects.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”
