Well that was expected.

And now, let's discuss letting Suppan bat in the top of the 7th with a runner on then giving up the lead in the bottom half, shall we?

Well, we won 2 of 3 on the road against a hot team, and Suppan pitched well tonight. If those things keep up, we could be alright down the stretch.

I shall now let my avatar hypnotize me :eyebrows:

Why, yes he did....

It takes the "Make some noise" on the wrap around scoreboard on the 2nd level to get them to do something.
It's not like they do it on their own. unfortunately

Terrible decision. Supan pitching in the 7th is just not smart. Unless he is pitching a No No, take him out.

he had what 69 pitches at the time or some low number. With the way the bullpen has been abused this month you have to take every chance you can get to let them rest. Not only that he looked great after the first.

Some positives from this series is that our starting pitching is finnally coming around. Sheets might be coming back saturday. Who will be going down? Hopefully Suppan has a good september. LIke he most of the time does in his career.

Gabe Gross has been amazing. Was it a smart move to send him down to get everyday playing time it sure the hell looks like it and it sure the hell looks like he might be picking up this team. Same can be the said for Rickie. Though it still looks like he still needs time off for his wrist.

With sheets coming back and you some of you say gallardo will be out of the roation what will be the roation.

I said it from the beginning and I'll keep saying it. Keep Braun at 3 and Prince at cleanup.

I'd guess McClung, either him or Parra.

Ehh he has a 4.07 career ERA in September. Not great but pretty good an better than his career averages.

Gabe Gross has been amazing. Was it a smart move to send him down to get everyday playing time it sure the hell looks like it and it sure the hell looks like he might be picking up this team.

Yes it was a good move. Now I'd like to know who was the one defending Gross when everyone came here and said he was horrible after 80 some at bats.

Same can be the said for Rickie. Though it still looks like he still needs time off for his wrist.

Nah I don't think so. If the surgery went right which I'm pretty sure it did or otherwise he wouldn't be playing then he should be fully recovered from it. However make no mistake about it a healthy and productive Rickie Weeks will go a long way for this team.

With sheets coming back and you some of you say gallardo will be out of the roation what will be the roation.

If Gallardo actually does go out (still torn, don't want him overworked but save for the Colorado start and the one after he's been great) I'm pretty sure Villanueva would take his spot and they'd go Sheets, Suppan, Bush, Vargas, Villanueva.

The Suppan pitching thing aside, taking two out of three on the road from the hottest team in baseball is nothing to freak out about. We all figured the Brewers would lose this one, they did. Oh well, on to San Francisco, where there better be close to a repeat performance of what happened in Arizona.
