Well, the place where I'll agree with Dario is that they play better than their -17 run differential because they use the bullpen and play somewhat optimally to outperform the Pythagorean record...but not for his stupid reasoning. They are just a slightly above average team at this point. The next wave of pitching not really taking a step forward hurts. They're in a decent enough position that if Attanasio is willing to spend more, they can add at the deadline and be a playoff team that has a chance.
