They should keep Hall at Triple-A when he gets back from his DL stint. He needs to get that FB velo up in a big way.

Guessing we'll see Tobias Myers. Wish Gasser didn't have the injury setback, he'd be the lefty you could slot in for Hall.

I think Hall's velocity dropping was intentional in order to maximize his control and stamina.

He might just be best suited for bullpen work, tbh.

I really really wish they had one more legit starter. Doesn't even have to be an ace. Like a solid durable inning eater #3 type.

I'm kind of torn on this because while that seems logical, you would think he could ramp it up to 98 a few times as a starter when he needs it...and while I'm not really watching every single pitch...has he?

I feel like this is clearly one of two things:

1. The fun phantom injury that baseball teams love to use. Preserve his one option that he has remaining so that he can take a few weeks "rehabbing" and then 2-3 starts in a minor league rehab stint to figure things out. If you don't feel confident through that, he's either bullpen or I guess minors.

2. He's actually hurt and the nagging knee injury has been the reason the velocity is down.

Really interesting to see the caliber of starting pitcher they can put out there and keep winning with this elite defense and good offense behind them.

Kinda wonder if Miley is done. He didn’t look particularly well in his couple outings and has been hurt a ton since camp broke. He even appeared to tweak his hamstring in the SD start where he stayed in.

Rotation is in flux… Hopefully Rea can keep up with how he is pitching. Feel like they’re going to have to try someone in the free agent market as a stopgap, but sure not much appealing out there.

I wonder at some point if Trevor Bauer's name gets floated in the front office. We're going to need help from somewhere.

It'd be really nice if Myers shows something, because the cupboard is pretty bare in AAA. Carlos Rodriguez has walked the world since reaching AAA and Ashby doesn't even look like a AAAA player at this point. Janson Junk will probably get a look again at some point. Chad Patrick might get a call but that would require a move to the 40 man.

The most exciting option on the 40 man right now is Bradley Blalock in AA, but he's thrown so few professional innings it's probably not realistic to see him get the call up.

Be interested if they have had any internal discussions on him. My guess is they don’t want to disrupt what they have going on. Allegations aside, he was a questionable teammate/personality. Granted he maybe has grown a bit, but just don’t see the Crew going after him.
