Baseball is also pretty much the most "you are who your record says you are" sport there is. Like, how many 100-win seasons did the Dodgers have only to constantly get bounced in the playoffs early prior to last season? The idea that certain teams/players are better equipped for the playoffs is nonsensical in a sport where just getting to the playoffs is more than half the battle.

I'll raise my hand and admit that while I find this run thrilling, I'm still going to approach the team with some skepticism come playoff time. Not because I don't think they can win it all. But because we've been burned many times before and we've got several guys outperforming expectations.

Yah. As fun as this is...im not allowing myself to believe anything about the playoffs until it happens.

Is Woodruff ok? I didn't have the sound on and they were showing him a bunch after that play at first to end the 4th.
