Darvish's big issue last year was his first innings. Hed give up runs or allow base runners then settle in, in a park like Miller park, thats a massive turnoff for me. If they wanna spend id just go with Arrieta

I’m not completely sold on Woodruff. I could be wrong, but he may be a guy the next few years that struggles to get to 5 innings.

Hmm. I think he's gonna be our workhorse.

I like him also. Maybe not special, but hopefully a guy who can throw around 200 innings yearly with an ERA under 4.

I think it was cut off that I still like him but he seems like a guy that could struggle a little bit this year to get deeper into games.

What could a Santana and Davies package get us?

If we trade for Archer we should see how much extra it would be to take Tommy Hunter for our last pen piece

HighHeat19 on brewerfan.net. He’s had this all scooped from a source days/weeks in advance.

I do like Archer, but I'm not sure I'd give up Santana and a ML level guy like Woodruff or Davies (lmao) for him like I've seen people consider. I'd be ok with one top pitching prospect and another lower level guy. Feel like he might be a tad overrated on the field, but his value is pretty great on his current contract.

A BF.net guy who's essentially called the moves over the last week. He also called the Lucroy to Cleveland deal.

If that guy's just been spouting BS and getting lucky that would be hilarious. Seems like he's legit though.

The stove is on fire at this point. It's always exciting to feel like you're actually making a run. Let's just hope that it doesn't come back to haunt us.

These next moves will really tell us the urgency. If it’s just Santana and maybe one more piece, we still have a relatively stocked minors group. If they dump more, it’s all in on the next 3 or so years.
