That and if you told me that Joe Saunders kept them alive against 2 of the best offenses in baseball in crackerbox stadiums against several prolific righties (though the Yankees are a bit lefty-heavy) I would have gone even further.

Even with the lefty-heaviness, this has shocked me. The Texas win more so, but still.

God I would love to see the Nats finish St. Louis but the odds of keeping that lineup silent again are small even with Gio. And the Nats just don't scrap out runs with their all or nothing offense against tough right handed pitching (like a team I know a couple years back).

I think if the Nats have another walkoff win over the Cards tonight or something like that, I will proclaim this one of the best playoffs ever.

AS WEFFPIM said before, all going to game 5 are awesome. It needs just 1 walkoff in game 5 to start becoming epic.

Of course, we could see the Yankees suddenly sweep the next 2 rounds or something and make the playoffs worthless after this.

One run should be enough for the Yankees with the pathetic Orioles offense.

Orioles screwed. Home run called foul, reviewed, still called foul.

I couldn't see it properly, did it show it hit the foul pole ?

Then the get bases loaded with 1 out and don't get any home FMD.

I don't know about you guys but I saw it foul.

Yankees vs. Tigers- not the ALCS matchup I wanted at all

It feels great to watch the Cardinals get rocked in the first inning

Unless it hit the pole, I agree.

Good start for the Nats.

They showed a replay that showed it grazing the pole and changing direction. Anyways, go Tigers in the ALCS.

So, 6-0 Nationals. I can dig it.

I only saw one replay in slow-mo and it clearly went behind the pole, so Id have to see other angles to confirm.
