Actually I just looked at Weeks' gamelog and he's 8 for his last 86 with 29 strikeouts.

One walk today

People complain that we don't make enough contract, but the lack of walks is a far bigger problem.A grounder to second and a strikeout both equal an out,but not taking enough walks leaves the bases to empty.

Then again,it's the trainwreck pitching staff that has this team in thislong nosedive.I wish i had a reason to think the pitching will take a dramatic turn for the better, but i'm not seeing one.

They play this everytime an opposing player strikes out at the minor league team I work for. Now I shall think of Rickie Weeks.

21-15 with Miller but 4-9 in his last 13 starts.

hmmm

it may be coincidence but I dont know...

One of the big knocks on Johnny was the fact he doesn't call a good game...

Yeah I had the Rickie Weeks page up from earlier so all I had to do was go to Miller's and just see what games he started and look at the score. It only took like 1 minute. Better than watching the Brewers at this point.

I'm trying to think of something cool for my 10,000th post. It will probably suck though.

Sweet lets start a rally and get Braun another AB so he can win the game with a double which will give him the cycle.

Braun can hit that's for sure. We need about 4 more of him right now.

Return to Milwaukee Brewers
