Really odd to have that Friday off day to start. Just have the opener on Friday.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Weird...the outdoor teams have that built-in Friday off-day so they can postpone if the weather looks **** on Thursday. But we have a dome.

I guess there's a chance if it's snowing on Thursday, you could still postpone to Friday for better tailgating/travel? I dunno. That probably wouldn't happen.

Yea, I can understand it if you're playing somewhere that weather could be an issue.

I don't believe we've ever had a gap day after the home opener. There's no reason for it.

The last time we were home on opening day it was in 2021, a Thursday vs Minnesota. Then there was an off day Friday.

The A's play again in Sacramento next season but they are playing 2 series in Vegas at the minor league park. The Brewers are one of them. In June. Nothing like 100+ degree baseball (dry heat yeah but it's **** hot, I've been to Vegas many times in the summer).

Bring Chourio back for Philly. It's a split series. Monday, Tuesday off, Wednesday, Thursday. Play Monday, then have a day to evaluate how his hammy is.

Yeah, 150 degrees is hot as **** no matter how humid or dry it is.

Chourio 0-4 with 3 K's. He's batting .069. But the hammy seems to be holding up. Hoskins 3-4 and .348

Monday we can add 2 players, a pitcher and a position guy. We have Chourio, Hoskins and Ortiz that will be coming back. Lockridge will go. Maybe Bauers? Two will have to go if we're adding 3. Seigler? Vaughn has cooled off but it's going to be a lot to juggle in Hoskins. Yeli can play some left and open up the DH spot but they don't want him in the field very often.

For pitching we will probably just keep rotating guys up and down as we are doing now but we'll have room for one more on the roster. Murphy said Gasser's possible role is still being discussed. Henderson won't be ready until late September, I'm guessing he's pretty much done for the season. Zastryzny should be available soon. It sounds like Hall won't be ready for quite awhile.

I'm probably missing someone.

Siegler is an automatic out. Monasterio should replace his role when Ortiz is ready.

Really don't think Hoskins should be on the PS roster. Hard to waste a spot on essentially an exclusive pinch hitter.
Do it for Chuck

Ouch that sucks

 Sucks about McGill

Sidenote: I knew someone that dated Erick Fedde when he was with the Nationals lulz. Hopefully he doesn't suck for us.

Chourio played again tonight. No hits again and only 1 since he started rehab but it appears as if his leg is good.
