Yost can't survive the offseason if this team finishes under .500...which I think is going to happen. There is no way...

I talked with Jimmy Gantner over the weekend. He said Simmons got Ned to loosen up when he was in town, gave him some advise, etc... I think Simmons would be a great manager.

No question he's gone if they finish under .500, even .500 or a few above I think he's toast (assuming that's not playoffs). The hype train, for those who were falsely riding it in May, makes this decline so disappointing and I think Attanasio was conducting the train. He had his brother or whoever hook the Brewers up for the Young & the Restless, they were on multiple media outlets every night, and now..they're a game under .500 and in 3rd place entering September. Choo Choo.

Ah yes, the sound of a train derailing like it says Amtrak on it...

Funny I talk to him when he was coaching the Woodchucks here in Wausau. Very nice guy.

Seriously though if there was ANY former Brewer that I would want coaching this team it'd be Ted Simmons. Did anybody hear him during that reunion? That guy knows his stuff.

Really? Aquino is the go to guy in the bullpen for getting the last out in the eighth inning of a must-win tie ballgame?? Seriously??? Greg Motherf*cking Aquino????

Will some body just shoot me in the head right now, please?
Because at this rate I'm never going to make it through September anyway.

As I now have no brain activity, I am not sure how you expect me to answer your question.
On a related note, I now possess greater empathy for what Yost must be feeling throughout every one of his post-game press conferences.

Thought I'd see what was going on here. I'd be confused if there wasn't a topic of this title in the top few.

Unreal. The guy redefines "stupid" on a daily basis.

I would be negligent in my sacred duty as a semi-active member of a Milwaukee Brewers' Online Message Board if I were unable to keep a thread of this kind upped. I will continue to honor this inherent responsibility until that glorious day when Brewers' management finally decides to cut the anchor which is keeping the Brewer's ship aground.

yost sucks

Post#178 » by aaprigs311 » Tue Sep 4, 2007 1:57 am

there's goes another game yost f'n blew. i'd say yost has costed the crew at LEAST 7-8 games this season. give them those games back and the comedy central is all but clinched. nascar ned shoulda never quit his day job as a hydration specialist. here's some hydration for ya ned.. *piss* i dunno who this team needs to hand the reigns over too, but they better figure it out soon. if anyone wants to speak up and say yost didn't cost them the game today then you should get a golden shower too. i understand bow was off today but you dont pitch mcclung, shouse, aquino, and spurling all in a close game when you're in a pennant race. not to mention take out one of your leading run producers so he's not available in a HUGE spot. wtf happened to matty wise anyways god damn. this team is not good for my health.

good point about wise. i can't remember the last time i saw him pitch. IF you take out shouse (which i didn't agree with anyway), wise seems like a perfect guy to get a rookie free swinger out with his changeup.

Steve Phillips said it best on baseball tonight when he said that Yost had September call ups in for the biggest pitch and biggest at bat of the game.
It's a matter of opinion, and your opinion is wrong.

Anybody need more proof after the garbage he pulled tonight?
