I like the blue, the logo is meh. I would really like black and blue together. Such an underrated combo.

So their new logo is their old one.

Meh.

As long as you don't make it look stupid like the Mets did.

Was not expecting Joe Nathan to get $14.5 million over 2 years.

Heath Bell to the Marlins for 3yrs/27 million. I guess if Nathan and Papelpon are worth what they got (probably aren't), Bell is certainly worth that.

The NL East might get good in a hurry with Washington and Miami? trending up...

The Brewers are looking to bring in Omar Minaya.

Edit: But the Pads have just hired him.

Bell must have wanted to go there. I feel like most teams would have offered that.

Doug Melvin says the only infielder he is actively trying to sign at this point is Jerry Hairston Jr. Probably will take 2-yr deal.

GM Doug Melvin said he has no ongoing talks with Prince Fielder's agent, Scott Boras, and no proposals have been exchanged.

Marlins offer Jose Reyes 6 years, $111 million.

I...would let that one go...

Done deal. 6 yrs, 106 million is what it sounds like. 17+ per season.

No thanks.

Mets got only a 3rd round pick and a sandwich pick. Ugh.

I understand Reyes has some issues. I really thought he was going to get at least 50% more than what he received.

Heyman was saying the Brewers were ready with a $75-$80 million deal, as were the Mets. Would have been fine with that.

Go after Rollins.

Please no Rolllins. He hasn't hit for three years, he's 33 and wants at least 4 years. Just pass on that.

Just because that's what he wants, doesn't mean he will get it.

What do you suggest we do at SS?

I'd be fine with Rollins as long as we don't give him a contract he thinks he deserves.

Is that about what we can expect now for losing Prince?
