Alex Claudio is the snake to my mongoose. Or the mongoose to my snake. Either way he's bad. I don't know animals.

Visiting team seems to have a huge advantage in extras.

Yelich is a **** mess right now.
It's good to get the lead but only getting 1 there after a leadoff RBI double feels pretty bad.

Re: Brewers/Pirates Series Thread
Holy crap, I turned it off when it was 5-1 headed to the 9th. Randomly flipped it back on to see the go ahead run in the 11th. **** yeah, boys.

Same. I chalked up the loss. That was awesome to wake up to.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I realize it's only game 5 but it's doesn't feel great seeing Yelich look totally lost.

Re: Brewers/Pirates Series Thread
Lindblom with a nice 1st inning. Would be huge for the Brewers if his success in Korea translates to the states.
Side note: hell of a performance by Phelps last night. Getting through 2 extra innings with that silly 2nd base rule was impressive.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Nothing like seeing the guy you just paid to carry the franchise look completely broken at the plate.
Needed that inning, even though the Pirates basically handed it to us.
