Feels like Counsell has had an awful start to the season, trying to get too cute in numerous games now. Still don't like a few of the decisions that ultimately worked out (letting Suter hit for himself so he could pitch a third inning instead of going for insurance runs, for one) but then the fatigue and injury stuff comes out after the games and it all makes sense. Obviously the Arcia trade looks terrible now with Urias looking lost at the plate and Wong injured, but thats nobody's fault. Simply, the hitters need to start hitting.

Really sucks we couldn't break that open with a hit to get a couple more guys in.

Four hits and only one run is difficult to do.

Hiura is just infuriating.

I was baking on Huira being a star and he’s quickly gone to being almost unplayable. If he’s lost at the plate he’s useless because he’s abysmal defensively.

Just can't play Hiura. Need a real first baseman.

He has to be a DH. His value has to be so low right now. He has options right? Let him try to figure it out and just play Vogelback and Shaw at 1st.

LOL how are you a major league pitcher when you walk the pitcher in a bases loaded situation?

Thought Yardley was going to give most of the 6 run cushion away when he came in. Nice to hold on and extend the lead at then end.

Feel good about:
-outfield 4 man rotation
-catcher position
-Shaw bouncing back would be huge

Could use:
-another bat on the infield or even just a reliable middle infield utility guy

feel great about:
-rotation, if Houser can be an okay 4 and Anderson or someone else can be a competent rotation arm, it could be really good

Woodruff, Burnes and Peralta are super a exciting young trio.
