I guess I should just be happy they even managed one run out of all that.

It's truly how remarkable how little we get out of these situations. We sent seven guys to the plate that inning and managed a single run.

Looking at Hoskins career numbers compared to what he's doing for the Brewers this year I'm now pretty certain that 1st base is just a cursed position for us.

I'm hoping it's just rust from getting past a gruesome knee injury. Maybe in the final month of the season + next year he is back to his old form.

I really hope so. It's been tough knowing that we'd be far betting off this season if we had just brought back Carlos Santana rather than paid up for Hoskins.

Won 4 of 5 since the break. It's been ugly as hell but I'll take it.

Win's a win and a win over Greg will never not be sweet.

Weren’t able to hit their starters like at all and still won more than we lost. Hope that annoys the **** out of Greg.

It's like the Packers D. Players come and go and it just always kind of looks the same.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Hoskins missed last year and came into this year off a torn ACL. It's hard to judge based off of that, really. If he didn't have a torn ACL, he likely would have been out of our budget.

Who was the last good 1B? 2015 Adam Lind wasn't so bad. 2016 Chris Carter hit 41 HR for us. 2017 and 2019 Eric Thames mashed. Rowdy Telez hit 35 dingers last year but didn't do much else.

Are we really going back to Prince?

Probably Aguilar in the 2nd half of 17 and 18.
