Montas having a much better ERA as a Brewer than Fedde with the cards is amusing.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Other than bullshitting our way to several World Series while playing the "bites of the apple" strategy - the Cards of 1980-2015 basically just transferred to the Brewers when Stearns took over right around then. Granted, it took the Cards 35 years to get 3 with a 20+ year gap in the middle. Maybe if we play this long enough we'll get it.

The Cards got the Doug Melvin Brewers.

The last 2 strikeout pitches by Devin were disgusting.

Three GIDP in three innings isn't ideal.

Two triples to left field in less than a week. That kid is good.

Still waiting for Tyler Black to make any kind of real impression.

Would've been a nice moment for Black to contribute there
