If Cubs lose (they're down 1-0) we clinch. If that happens I hope we win too. Weird to celebrate a division title after a loss. Personally I wouldn't even do it but the Brewers still celebrate losing the World Series so I imagine the corks will pop even under those circumstances.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

A's up 5-3 in the 8th, six outs away from clinching. Would be kind of lame to do it on a Cubs day game loss before we have to play a game tonight but oh well.

Yeah, I'm sick of hearing my kids tell me, "dad, you tell us they could win the whole thing every year."

Either way, my playoff expectations are low, but my expectations for the future are high.

I ain't taking this for granted, especially with Burnes and Woody not playing for them this season and Yeli finished. Winning the division is always cool for this team otherwise because of how small our market is by comparison. This front office just keeps finding dudes off the scrap heap and developing young talent. They're doing what we've always wanted them to do, instead of the Doug Melvin days of spending $42M on Jeff Suppan or the late-stage Selig days of, well, spending nothing and trading anyone of value.

But damn it, make a run please. We need to win a World Series one of these years.

Phillies fan checking in. I come in peace. We don't have an active board. All the best to you folks

Was hoping for a Chourio homer to end this thing but I'll settle for a leadoff triple.

I started typing out a Jake Bauers hate post to trick him into getting a hit there.
