Royals, lower revenue, 22% higher payroll. Meanwhile Mark and BA talking about pickleball courts.

Yeah yeah injuries blah blah blah.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I delivered a new streaming device to my dad, and helped him fix his existing one. So I'm going back and forth between two TVs and setting up Fandual on both. Set up one TV and it's 3-0. Fire up the second one and it's 4-0. This team is depressing.

I'm sure it's happened in one of the really down years but i can't remember a more lifeless and depressing start to a season in recent years.

Bubic is actually a good, up and coming pitcher, so I'm not surprised he's shutting us down. Our bats will get it going soon enough but the pitching is gonna be a concern. Hopefully Woodruff is coming back sooner than later

Attanasio usually is enthusiastic on opening day. Today he's not even talking about the team.

Is this a thing any other team deals with? Having the catcher call for way too many fastballs from guys whose best pitches are breaking balls. Contreras did the same thing with Civale yesterday. Obviously this would be an easily correctable thing so I don't get why the team is okay with this over and over.

Top of the order is absolutely brutal right now. Totally inept.

In more uplifting news Mark reiterated today that he will never sell the team and he will never rebuild.

He definitely had a someone kicked my dog vibe. Maybe the Uecker tributes, not there, etc really hit everybody today. I don’t know, its been a super flat and lifeless performance.

Same. And I’m struggling to find positives too as this pitching staff looks awful.
