Yelich, Durbin, Ortiz. You can't have 1/3 of your lineup that putrid.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Not cashing in on insurance runs will cost them tonight. Got away with it last night.

Payamps borderline un-pitchable right now.

Reds and Cards lost. Made up some ground there. Need to sweep these guys tomorrow. Then 3/4 in Pittsburgh.

Nice win! A little shaky in the 7th again, but survived. Some good vibes, lets keep it going.

Watching Logan Henderson & Abner Uribe pitch tonight was so much fun
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

It's sad watching Yelich. I think it might just be over for him.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

That’s kind of what I felt watching him up close on Monday night. Running seems labored and looks lost at the plate. I don’t know if he is trying to play through pain, shaking off rust yet, or if it’s maybe over. His savant numbers have taken a nose dive so far this season.

He did have a .772 OPS in April so I’m hopeful its just a bad stretch or maybe be he is hurt. If the latter he needs to sit though. Someone also suggested to maybe sit against lefties. The splits are pretty large.

That contract seems never ending too. Stuck through 2028 unless he retires, which he may still get paid…? Seems like a great guy and want him to do well, but right now its looking rough after a slight renaissance in 23 and 24.

I have changed my revisionist stance on Yelich many times - I didn't like the second 9-year extension given his deal ended at almost the perfect time (age ~31).

Totally get that you want a face of the franchise and you usually backpay the value in the old years after you underpay them in their prime...but it felt like it was not going to go well for the final 5ish years. I thought I was wrong the past 2 outside of the injuries...but we may be entering the dead contract part.

I agree. Its not like he is 29, 30 just struggling anymore. He is 33 going on 34 off a pretty significant back surgery. The fast downhill slide could be here. He is not tradeable at this point either unless we eat a portion of the deal probably.

Yelich instead of Contreras as DH is a choice

I actually like that Murph is giving Contreras full days off this year. Hopefully he won't wear down like he did last year
