Yes he's leading off. And pitching. Bush is playing third.

My official sources say he will also sing the National Anthem before the game at Petco and will be available in the pen, not to start as originally thought since he will be occupying 3rd and SS at the same time

Are those lineups correct? Why wouldn't Braun be starting?

Tom Haudricourt just posted the lineup on JSOnline:

2B Rickie Weeks
3B Ryan Braun
SS J.J. Hardy
1B Prince Fielder
RF Geoff Jenkins
CF Bill Hall
C Damian Miller
RF Gabe Gross
RHP Dave Bush

Hitting second... he better put the ball in play.

If this is truly the lineup then I'll be pissed. Is there a frickin' rule that the bottom of our order has to include at least one sub .200 hitter? Also, I'm sure Gwynn's family will be happy to see him not playing....

He has only 11 K's in 34 games and 117 AB's. He has 10 HR's and 15 BB's.

We'll see how it translates, but for a power hitter to have more walks than strikeouts and only one less homer than strikeouts is absurd.

Who is sub .200?

Gross is great as a #8 hitter since he walks so much. Plus, Gwynn has cooled off big time.

I'm sure Gwynn will get to play in game 2 and/or 3.

Braun flies out. Bust. 8) Graffy could have done the same thing.

I just turned the game on. Why no Estrada? Extra day of rest?

Hall could have caught that. He held up to avoid a collision.

Honestly guys, I'm getting a little worried. This looks like the same Brewer team that I have grown up watching for 19 years.

- Shoddy defense.

- Inability to score runs with less than 2 outs.

- Untimely pitching.

All things that have just crushed in the past. I really hope we are just struggling right now and can get back on track soon.

I think we have found our replacement for Dessens....Dave Bush...this guy is perfect to bring in games where we are already down by 6.

Carlos Villanueva in the starting rotation please!

Yost started Miller and Gross because both have had success against Maddux, and it has paid off tonight. Unfortunately Bush blows again. Braun with his first major league RBI (but still hitless).

Amazingly it looks as if we will still have a 6 game lead after tonight. Should be 15 games.

Congrats to Ryan on his first hit. Does he have more RBI's this month then Graffanino....seriously?

By next year...maybe by the end of this year...the Brewers will have what is considered the best infield in baseball....and they are all 24 or younger.
