This is a great road trip. Can we just play the Cubs the rest of the year?

We face Felix tonight and have Garza going tomorrow. Hopefully we get swept out again. A nasty 15 game stretch is exactly what we need. Then after that the only poor teams we have left on the schedule are 6 with Colorado and 6 with Cincy. We have 9 with Pittsburgh (whom somehow we always beat), 6 with the Cubs, 3 with Texas, and 3 with STL.

Wow. This road trip has really re-invigorated the Tank. After today's loss we will be a game out of the 3rd and 4th draft spots. Well done, Stearnsy. Well done.

In the meantime, we've discovered we have a legitimate starting CF development in Keon Broxton. This is a huge development given we have an extremely deep OF depth in the ML system. It's very early, but the pool of Santana, Broxton, Brinson, Phillips, Ray, Clark, Coulter, and (to a lesser extent) Wren offers a lot of potential and flexibility. And, it feels like we're going to be in good position to target pitching and power bats in the upcoming draft. I'm fairly excite, honestly.

Dropping 2-3 is still cool.

Yeah...I thought about it for a second. And, then, I said to myself: It's the Brewers.

You can not stop Keon Broxton. You can only hope to contain him. 8-)

Don't want to overreact but sure would be nice to see Arcia get a couple hits to maybe get him going a bit.

Okay...so what's with the tweet numbers. I'm almost solely a phone user for my browsing. I can't see or copy/paste these. Any solutions?

It seems like the great challenge to making Broxton into an MLB player will be getting him to be passable against right-handed pitching. He couldn't do it in the minors and can't do it in the majors this year. Obviously plenty of time for him to keep working on it.

Your wish is granted. 2 of 3 tonight with a run and an rbi.
