Re: Brewers/Cubs Divisional Series - No Woody
I would probably rather save Ashby for a leverage situation, but there's a lot of value in making sure you use your best pitchers and don't use the mediocre ones until the best ones are unavailable.
"Inconclusive" is better than expected, but I hope it doesn't drag on and lead to them using a roster spot on a player who ends up not being available at all.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

If Collins has to play hopefully he snaps out of his long term slump.

I wonder if DH'ing him is on the table. Keep his bat in the lineup and limiting his mobility. I'm fine with him jogging to 1st to preserve that hammy if he needs to.

I think it's an option. Yelli is a good fielder.

I dont see how its not an option. I think hes mostly fine. some footage of him clearly jogging doesnt mean anything to me.

Have him DH. If you hit it far enough you don’t have to run.

I was much more hopeful about Chourio before watching those two clips

Yeah - facing Tucker and probably PCA early is high enough leverage to hopefully get you to a good start for Priester to go 4 innings or so. Priester gets worse the more he faces guys. This in theory makes a lot of sense.
If Tucker beats Ashby early, he would've beaten you later in a high leverage situation.
I get it, though. It gives me an uneasy feeling if anything does not go according to plan.

Big game for Priester. Against the Cubs this year he's given up 17 hits and 10 runs in 14.1 innings. Imanaga this season against us has given up 12 hits and 7 runs in 17.1 innings.
I wonder what time roster changes need to be in by. If Chourio is still on the roster it's good news, even if he sits out today. I'm guessing he doesn't play today but is in the lineup on Wednesday.

If they replace Chourio on the roster, he's also out for the next round too. Tough to do that if you aren't sure he'll need an extended rest.

Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Thank god for young legs and being able to bounce back. Let's sweep these bums now.

Wonder if he just stepped wrong off the bag, can kind of see a hop almost, and maybe it just cramped for a split second, and he worried since it was that same hammy...I'm sure, subconsciously he favors that leg.
