Chasing Kershaw in the 4th is such a big advantage for us.

Literal goosebumps right now, gents. We just CHASED their ace off the mound. Counsell pressed EVERY right button. This team believes in each other. LET'S GO!!!!!!!!

CC deserves credit here. Pushing the right buttons. Hopefully the pen continues to stone them.

We would have to score A LOT more runs for CC to even consider not using our frontline relievers. A LOT more.

I felt my own goosebumps watching him walk off the mound, the crowd roaring. That was amazing.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Counsell made the exact argument hot hand is a big factor in his decision-making too in his last presser. You're pre-determined to defend people in the organization even when they aren't being attacked. People mentally play the game along with the manager and players (if they didn't most wouldn't watch the sport because of the downtime between plays). Naturally they aren't going to agree with all the decisions. And just because a decision worked out doesn't mean it was the best play or the alternative also wouldn't have worked out. Enjoy it, don't be so uptight, and think you need to perpetually push an agenda against people being fans.

I don't dig in against most other fans. You dig in pretty hard with these takes and don't say, "I think this ____" you basically have this impossibly high bar for a manager to reach that he will never reach, because he doesn't have the same "eye" that you have. My suggestion to you is let the clearly smart minds play. I don't have an issue with dissenting opinions but to continually think you're outsmarting this staff and digging way in, you're never going to be satisfied.

With that, I'll shut up. Armistice on all mid-game (and probably post-game pissing matches).

Hell yes!
