We are pissing away our only oppourtunity in the last 25 years for a pennant race. Playoff teams aren't 11 under .500 on the road.
I really don't see any reason to make a trade at this point. Why trade some of our nice talent for a rental for a team that isn't going to the playoffs.

I can't take it anymore. **** this POS team. They can't hold leads. They had this series set up so well to win it with the Cards hurting for starters. The relief pitchers blow. They just can't handle the pressure. They are going to blow this whole season, miss the playoffs, and then they will try to sell us how they had a decent year. This is complete BS. Fire Ned PLEASE. Something needs to change. A manager can only motivate a group of guys for so long and its obvious Yost can't do it anymore. His whole bag of motivational tricks is used up and his piss poor decisions can't be excuse any longer. Where is Harvey Kuenn when you need him?

It is pathetic that getting 14 hits isn't good enough for a victory, but remember, Yost says that these are just the normal ups and downs of the season, so there is no need for us to get exercised about this losing streak. We all need to take comfort in the fact that we still have a .5 game division lead.
EDIT: ^ That is me venting my enormous frustration in the most passive-aggressive way I possibly can.

trolling applies to the baseball boards as well as the basketball. Im not worried about you guys tho. You will choke it away. Its the Cubs its what they do. Choke.
Might want to check the Cubs board after a loss.
I was under the impression that we were allowed to have fun with each others fans since it will make the long baseball season more interesting.

Brewers fans have lost their sense of humor recently. I'm personally still up for some friendly ribbing.
You guys are playing out of your mind and we are playing like **** and you are still in 2nd???

Choices for an ideal finish to the season:
A. The MLB rules that games will be only 4 innings. The Brewers would win 9 out of every 10 games if that were the case. Oh, ****...they'd probably still bring in Cordero and he would blow it anyways.
B. Every other ballpark in America randomly explodes except for Miller Park. The Brewers go on to win the world series since they only win at home.
C. The Brewers lose every game for the rest of the season. In the last game, Ned Yost decides just for fun that he should call a bunt for somebody other than the pitcher and not to pick his lineup out of a hat every day. Yost is murdered by an angry fan but is considered the tragic hero of the story who finally had found his way in the end.
D. The Brewers' bullpen is found to be in connection with Tim Donoghy and the NBA scandal, betting on themselves during road games.

I enjoy the little rivalry on the boards.. It's funny both ways.
Feel free after a bad Cubs loss to rub it in.

Ayt, your calm and collected deportment in the face of calamity is an inspiration to all people who call themselves Brewer fans. Do you know something the rest of us don't?

He must have inside info on the Brewers making a 3 team trade which we acquire Johan Santana from Minnesota for Chris Spurling and Ken Griffey Jr. for Gabe Gross.
It goes something like this.
To Twins:
Chris Spurling
To Reds:
Gabe Gross
To Brewers:
Johan Santana
Ken Griffey Jr.

I'm just a huge baseball fan that has been caught up in many a playoff race in the past with "adopted" teams. This year it just happens to be my favorite team that is in the race.

I would be reassured just hearing that Sheets would be back tomorrow at 100%, but hearing about the trade you mentioned would be even better.

I know, I'm just saying that it is admirable that you can maintain the same even-keel attitude when it is your team that is in the race. Doing that is difficult for people like me.
