I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Like the moves, generally. I don't think they gave up any major prospects - though it's always possible that one of these lotto picks will cash in. Escobar and Curtiss are two guys that fit in quite nicely. Norris could be an effective reliever.

I would have loved if they would have made a bigger move for Berrios, Scherzer, or Turner. But I'm fine with this.

So, I follow the Brewers closely but don't really keep up much with contractual stuff when it comes to the MLB because it confuses me far more than NBA.

What are the odds this roster is largely intact next season?

Mostly wondering how long we have control of guys like Adames and Escobar.

This team is fun as hell. Adames has brought much needed energy and we have quality bench guys. Tellez has been looking good too.

What happens when Vogelbach and Yelich come back?

Adames is under team control until 2025. Escobar will be a FA after the year.

Team should largely look the same next year, will be interesting to see what kind of offers Garcia gets in the offseason. Hopefully we can keep him for another 2 years.

Tellez seems like he's a better all around player than Vogelbach.

Do you think they'll try to bring Escobar back?

IMO probably too early to tell. He's a massive upgrade over Shaw and even Urias at 3rd, and the upcoming infield free agent class is bananas, so he may not get as much as he would any other year. If he'd accept a 2 year/$28 mil contract, which is possible, I'd def bring him back.

Internally, the brass is probably hoping to put out Adames/Urias/Wong consistently at 3rd, SS, and 2nd respectively moving forward, so some of it probably has to do with Urias' consistency/development as well.

Think they need to upgrade 1B as priority A in the offseason. Making a 2-3 year splash for a guy like Rizzo or Freddie Freeman would be nice to complete the infield.

Quite the season.

Couldn't hit at all for a couple months and some of the guys who should have been big bats (Keston and Yelich) have never hit. Have used like a 100 players. Now a major covid outbreak.

But still 20 games above .500.

I was hoping the Brewers get a closer-type reliever at the trade deadline, but I didn't expect it to be Axford. Unfortunately, he's replacing the current Brewers closer who is sent to the covid IL.

With Axford back, wonder if Braun will be back too?

Ax is a fun addition for $1, even if he doesn't pitch an inning. But I'll be honest, I didn't think he was still in the league at this point.

Who's next? Solomon Torres? Eric Gagne? Doug Jones?

What about Jeremy Jeffress? Francisco Rodríguez? Former Brewers closers after Axford.
