I find his work interesting. I don't always agree with it. I don't think you can blindly use numbers to evaluate players but it is one measure and he has come up with some new ways to look at the numbers.

We should keep this thread up here for the whole "picking a name out of a hat" debacle. That name being the only Brewer who could hit the ball today.

Sticky this thread! It's much easier to find it at the top of the page on the off chance Ned doesn't **** up for a few games.

Then this whole board is qualified. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for Simmons. Although I wouldn't mind him if Yost gets fired mid-season.

Fixed to make fun of your error earlier today on the Bucks board.

Can't understand why you would want to fire this guy.

Yahoo! Sports wrote:Apr 27 3B Bill Hall was out of the starting lineup Sunday despite collecting five hits in the previous two games. Manager Ned Yost wanted to give either Hall or 2B Rickie Weeks the day off to let INF Craig Counsell see some action. Yost put the names of Hall and Weeks in a baseball cap and had Hall pick to see who would be out of the lineup. Hall picked his own name, and thus had to sit.

Check out our game thread from yesterday. Our announcers talked about it and we made fun of him for that in there. :D

Oh man, I thought you guys were just messing around in the game thread. I can't believe he actually set his lineup like that! Evidently I give Nedly way too much credit.

Come on. Would I ever say something that's not true to make Ned look like a bigger idiot than we already know he is?

I thought they were joking too. And then I remembered they were talking about Ned.
