You just drive in and park. If you pre purchased parking you activate it from the app. Enter your plate number and you're good. If you didn't pre purchase you can scan the QR code that's posted all over the lots, enter your plate number and payment. It works well.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Anybody have an opinion on the best 400 section and how high up you have to be to not have a railing in your way. Looking like it will have to be rows 10+. I got stuck buying tickets for our group of 15. Think I'm going to do three rows of 5 or maybe a 7 and 8.

It has been awhile since I sat up there but think Row 1 does have the railing potentially in the way if not at edge of the seat.

There is a website called A View From My Seat that has pictures from attendees for all sections that can be helpful. Often includes comments.

Random question, but do the Brewers have a beat writer for The Athletic? I have a subscription and you can follow writers but don’t feel like I can find one that is Brewers centric. For example, Eric Nehm is the Bucks and Matt Schneidman is the Packers.

Nope, they do not.

Thanks! I was kind of figuring that. I usually go to MLB app (McCalvy) for Brewers articles but wonder why Athletic doesn’t have one. Budget cuts like everything probably.

Milwaukee’s Tailgate is a pretty good podcast if looking for one too. Only Crew one I really do.

Read on Twitter

He was really, really good all year, not just in the booth but on social media. He'd interact with fans just about every game, shouting out people who were tuning in across the country.

He's got a huge future.

It will be curious, hypothetically, what kind of prices the World Series would be here? Prices on TickPick start at $1300+. Feel like it would go down. I know Game 3 of the NBA Finals I paid like $600/ticket for upper level, halfway up. Obviously capacity over half less at Fiserv so would think be more tickets up for grabs at AmFam. But I think Wisconsin is more of a baseball state so interest will be through the roof too.

NLCS prices aren’t actually a ton different than this Cubs series. High 100’s in upper level and $260+ if want in Loge and $300+ for Field level. Not sure if that will hold or go up IF advance.

There will be bandwagon Dodgers fans but not enough to really jack up prices. Games 1 and 2 being a Monday/Tuesday also helps a bit keeping them "reasonable".

Looks like the last pre sale is today. I’m guessing is for the smaller season ticket plans. I did notice this year they did not have a pre sale for the people who bought at least 1 game through the team. Last year I got a chance to buy a day ahead because bought some single games.

Not much left to pick from in the presale today besides some steep upper level corners. It will be interesting how the secondary market shakes out IF advance. Philly travels fairly well I believe and LA has bandwagon appeal plus Shohei fan base.

Anybody go to any of the NLDS games? If so, how long did it generally take to get in for general parking?

I bought tickets for tomorrow and normally I always get preferred but must’ve been sold out already so had to buy general. My worry is I’m coming from GB area and generally get caught up in rush hour traffic entering the city limit on 43 around 5pm and then again around 35th St on 94W on way to stadium. Debating just pulling my son from school around 2pm and getting down there by 4pm to maybe avoid the prime rush.

I park in preferred and haven't parked in general in a long time. Interesting that preferred is already sold out for tomorrow. I would definitely leave early, pull him out of school. The lots open at 3:30. I drove by AmFam Saturday afternoon around 2:30 and there was already a lot of backup. That was going East toward downtown. I think a lot of people didn't know the lots opened at 3:30 and were trying to get in earlier and that backed things up. And that was a Saturday with no business traffic. No rain forecast tomorrow so tailgaters will be wanting to get in asap after the lots opened.

Yeah, I bought early afternoon yesterday and no preferred option. Checked again today and was still only Bus or General. I also have not parked in general in a very long time, probably almost 10 years. I think I may try that back entry off Canal St vs the exit off Brewers Way.

Thanks for info on parking as well. I think smart thing is pull early.

Canal street would be a good option. I've never entered that way but it is likely the best way in.

I'd suggest the free shuttles from either Camp Bar or Brat House on Oakland Avenue in Shorewood. Just 5 minutes from I-43 via Capitol Drive. Its going to take forever to get out of those General Parking lots. Unless you leave early. The shuttles get priority entry/exit and often utilize city streets to and from AmFam to avoid highway traffic. Its going to be a late night for you either way. Might as well stay till the end.

Shuttles can be a good option if there's room. Some places require a drink or food order. At Poto you have to make a bet (which can be $5) but that's not an option with kids.

I used this way years ago and was pretty decent. Just jump off at 25th St and go to Canal. I don’t know what it will be like now. I’m half tempted to just take the Fiserv exit off 43 and buzz down 6th to Canal too and completely avoid the Marquette Interchange and any back on 94W towards the stadium.

It was not too bad in and out. I ended up taking McKinley to 6th to Canal and avoided all traffic. It was starting to back up around North Ave. But moved quickly through downtown and into the general lot.

We did leave after the 8th but quite a few others also were, but this probably aided a fairly smooth exit. It was a pain in the ass backing the van out of our spot, the lanes seemed narrow, but avoided the dead end lines and was able to jump on Canal for the way home.

I have kind of avoided general parking, but for lesser attended games probably would not be a bad option. The walk is obviously a tad longer than preferred.
