We did leave after the 8th but quite a few others also were, but this probably aided a fairly smooth exit. It was a pain in the ass backing the van out of our spot, the lanes seemed narrow, but avoided the dead end lines and was able to jump on Canal for the way home.
I have kind of avoided general parking, but for lesser attended games probably would not be a bad option. The walk is obviously a tad longer than preferred.
That's good to know. I usually go to weeknight games that aren't packed. I sit between the dugouts and using preferred I can get to the car and hit the highway pretty quick. But general might be an option sometimes.
